MLM Success and Energy Level

MLM Success and energy level go hand and hand. Is your energy level high? Are you always pumped up and ready to go? If you are anything like me, being an entrepreneur has caused a serious change in my sleep patterns. Since I am a full-time Internet Marketer, I don't have a "set time" when my day starts and when it ends. However, I don't think this is such a good idea. I find myself up late at night working and up early in the morning very sluggish because there is a lack of sleep.

I know some people may disagree with what I am about to say, but those people will not be health care professionals. The body needs rest. We were not designed to stay awake 20 hours a day. Some of the reasons we became entrepreneurs was so we could have more freedom, unlimited income potential, and more time. It becomes difficult to enjoy those things when you are exhausted. I was talking to my doctor a couple weeks ago and told her I was always tired. The first question she asked me was how much sleep I was getting and I laughed. I don't care how many energy drinks, juices, or pills you take, none of those things can be substituted for sleep.

For instance, two nights ago I was up until 3 am working, up at 6 am getting my daughter ready for school, and started working again around 9 am. My mind was completely fried. No creative juices flowing to be seen at all. My body was on shut down mode. Last night I decided to see what would happen if I actually went to sleep at a decent hour, meaning before midnight. I was awakened by a business partner's phone call around 2 am (they live in a different time zone so it was midnight there). I got off the phone around 2:30 am and went back to sleep and woke up around 7:30 am. So I had a total of 7.5 hours sleep last night compared to 3 hours sleep the night before. Today my mind is much sharper and I am not walking around like a zombie.

Although I have a daily schedule of plan of action, what I don't have is what time that schedule starts. That is the missing link. Even though we are not working a 9 to 5, that does not mean we should not have some business hours, some family time, and sleep time scheduled. Remember that your energy level is directly related to your MLM success level. Take care of yourself and listen to your body. When you are feeling tired after working countless hours, stay clear of the coffee fix or whatever your energy boost might be. The mind and body operate much better when they are fresh and ready to go after getting some rest.
